The SAUSD Teaching & Learning Department works in partnership with educators, school leaders, and district teams to support high-quality instruction and meaningful learning experiences across our schools.

What We Do

Our Work Across SAUSD

Teaching & Learning provides support across elementary and secondary education through collaboration, resources, professional learning, and responsive service to schools.

Elementary Support

We partner with elementary schools to support curriculum implementation, instructional planning, student-centered learning, and classroom practice.

Secondary Support

We support middle and high schools with content-area instruction, course pathways, instructional systems, and meaningful student outcomes.

Curriculum & Instruction

We help educators access, understand, and use instructional resources that support high-quality teaching and learning.

Professional Learning

We design learning opportunities that help educators collaborate, strengthen practice, and move teaching and learning forward.
